Santa Cruz

Why wouldn’t anyone want to live in gorgeous Santa Cruz? Even iPhone commercials are talking about this wonderful place along the west coast of California. With the combination of its wonderfully mild climate and abundance of activities for those of all ages, Santa Cruz makes it very difficult for people to not want to live here. I mean, who wouldn’t want to live in a place where you can sit out on your porch with a glass of wine or iced tea pretty much any time of the year, or be within walking distance to the well-known amusement park, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk?

Santa Cruz can’t help but have plenty of activities revolving around the ocean and beach which is what it’s most legendary for. Are you one of those people that has always wanted to learn how to surf but either never had the time to learn or were never in the right setting? SC is the perfect place to learn how to take part in this exciting sport, but if you are more of a spectator, what better spot to watch the surf than at the well-known Mavericks just a few miles up the coast in Half Moon Bay? You can take part in anything… ranging from sailing or fishing in the water to sunbathing and playing competitive volleyball on the sand. The sky is the limit!

For those who are looking to move to Santa Cruz with a family or have the intention of starting one, there are plenty of fantastic elementary and high schools, both public and private. Some of these schools include but aren’t limited to: Pacific Collegiate Charter School, Santa Cruz Waldorf School, Kirby Prep School, Santa Cruz High and more.

If you are one who is looking to either retire or just relocate to a place where there is plenty to do yet at the same time is a mellow and relaxing city, what better way to become one with Santa Cruz than to experience some great wineries? With places like the Bonny Doon Vineyard, Sones Cellars and Odonata Wines one can’t really go wrong with visiting any of the wineries Santa Cruz has to offer.

It doesn’t matter if you want to move to Santa Cruz permanently, rent a place or buy a vacation home. Santa Cruz houses, condos and apartments offer opportunities to all kinds of buyers.
